This art record guidebook series collects record jackets beautifully illustrated by contemporary artists and obscure records lying all over the world, and arranges them beautifully in the correct order.
Our goal was to create a book that lies somewhere between a record guide and an art illustrated book. It introduces art vinyl, where the sensibilities of artists and musicians are sparked and created on the jacket.
Van Gogh, Matisse, Warhol, Lichtenstein, Jasper Johns, Richter, Damien Hirst, Christopher Woolf, Julian Opie, and others are included, unraveling art history through the record jacket.
